Job summary

Journal Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Intermediate Technical Support Analyst to deliver technical software support for our enterprise products.

You will troubleshoot issues, communicate with customers, and collaborate with Product and Services teams to resolve escalations while maintaining high service levels. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in tech support, strong Java/HTML/SQL knowledge, and the ability to work independently in a remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in IT or related experience.
• 2+ years of technical support experience with web-hosted, on-premise, or cloud apps.
• Working knowledge of Java, HTML and SQL to support and document issues.
• Experience with SQL queries (PL/SQL, T-SQL) for troubleshooting and reporting.
• Familiarity with Crystal Reports is a plus.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer support requests via phone, email, and portal.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues; escalate when needed.
• Track tickets and ensure SLA-based resolution and follow-up.
• Collaborate with Product/Professional Services to resolve escalations.
• Log, prioritize, and document issues in the knowledge base.
• Provide after-hours on-call support on a weekly rotation.
• Occasionally travel to customer sites for support.
