Job summary

Lenovo is seeking a Manager, Technical Sales (LETS/STEP) for the North America ISG. Remote role with EST hours and up to 50% travel, preferred in Chicago, Morrisville, or Markham.

You will guide a team of technical sales professionals, drive solution design, presales support, and datacenter expertise to accelerate revenue growth across North America. You will lead high-impact engagements, refine processes, and mentor talent while collaborating with sales, architects, and channel partners to win

Qualifications

• 10+ years in enterprise infrastructure sales engineering or technical sales leadership.
• 3+ years leading global cross-functional teams.
• 3+ years leading technical teams.
• Experience delivering sales projects as a technical team member across data center technologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, Business, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of technical sales specialists supporting Lenovo's server, storage, HCI, AI, HPC, SAP, and infrastructure solutions.
• Manage team priorities, workload balancing, and engagement assignments to ensure timely support of sales opportunities and partner requests.
• Establish and refine processes that improve technical engagement quality, scalability, operational efficiency, and customer experience.
• Drive consistent technical review, peer review, and solution quality standards across the organization.
• Collaborate with Sales, Solution Architects, Business Units, Channel teams, and Deep Technical Specialists to support complex customer opportunities.
• Develop team capabilities in emerging technologies including AI, HPC, software-defined infrastructure, hybrid cloud, and advanced datacenter solutions.
• Shape demand for Lenovo strategic offerings including Software, Services, Storage, AI solutions, and Top Choice Express initiatives.
• Support executive briefings, customer workshops, partner enablement activities, and technical sales events.
• Foster strong relationships across all levels of the ISG organization while serving as a trusted advisor to sales leadership and technical teams.
• Drive employee development through coaching, performance management, mentoring, succession planning, and technical enablement programs.
• Utilize data, metrics, and reporting to improve capacity planning, team productivity, and business outcomes.
