Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering with production depth in .NET and Python.
• Experience decomposing systems into services and strangler-style migrations.
• Hands-on ServiceNow and CMDB integration, data modeling.
• Caching strategy and lightweight datastore design (Redis).
• Strong data modeling across relational and time-series data.
• API and telemetry design at scale with versioning and consumer management.
• Kubernetes at scale and observability practices.
• Experience leading Agile software development methodologies.
• High-level design using UML/C4/ArchiMate.
• Proficiency in English; authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Independently guide the technical direction and implementation across the team from concept to deployment.
• Own the target architecture for data services including telemetry and CMDB integration.
• Lead decomposition of existing systems into services; maintain Python services and shift to .NET for new work.
• Define caching strategy and lightweight datastore approaches for fast ingestion.
• Design API and telemetry stream contracts with versioning and backward compatibility.
• Balance correctness, robustness, and performance with customer impact in mind.
• Collaborate with Telemetry lead on boundary contracts to evolve independently.
• Create and lead technical documentation and repository practices (branches, PRs, merges, releases).
• Participate in code reviews, security, performance, and reliability improvements.
• Mentor Senior Engineers and support knowledge transfer from outgoing teams.
