Job summary

FullStack is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer Tech Lead to join our remote talent network and connect with U.S. clients for 3-4 month engagements. You will integrate with client teams, shaping architecture and driving backend development using Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS.

Advanced English, a four-year degree, and a proven track record in Backend-for-Frontend and API middleware are required. You will design scalable microservices, mentor engineers, and collaborate across vendors.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 2+ years of technical leadership experience shaping architecture and direction.
• Advanced English is required.
• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Expertise in Node.js and TypeScript.
• Experience with AWS services (EC2, ECS, Lambda, ElastiCache, S3, CloudFront).
• MongoDB experience and backend deployment optimization.
• Experience with Salesforce OCAPI/API, CMS-driven content management, and mobile integrations.
• Designing scalable microservices and event-driven architectures for high-scale e-commerce.
• Experience with AI tooling (LangChain/LlamaIndex) and agentic workflows.
• Strong client-facing collaboration with external vendors.
• CI/CD and robust delivery pipelines.
• Attention to detail and a positive, proactive mindset.
• Experience on Agile/Scrum teams.
• Ownership mindset and commitment to client goals.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with client teams and cross-functional designers/engineers.
• Architect and implement Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) systems and API middleware.
• Design scalable microservices and event-driven architectures for high-scale e‑commerce.
• Lead and influence engineering direction while collaborating with external vendors.
• Own delivery pipelines, CI/CD, and code quality across projects.
