Job summary

Jobgether is partnering with a United States-based client to hire a Team Lead: Functional Consultants in a remote-first environment. You will lead a team of functional consultants, drive quality across configuration and process design, and develop onboarding programs for junior talent.

You will oversee performance, career progression, and coaching, while collaborating with architects, engagement leaders, and other Team Leads.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a consulting role.
• Experience leading, mentoring, or supervising consultants.
• Hands-on experience with configuration and process design using Jira and other Atlassian tools.
• Strong understanding of functional best practices and quality expectations across client engagements.
• Ability to balance team development, wellbeing, and billable objectives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with both technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise assigned Functional Consultants and conduct regular one-on-one meetings.
• Set goals, monitor progress, and provide evidence-based feedback.
• Define and maintain standards for configuration, process design, and solution documentation.
• Lead staffing discussions and recruit by providing evaluation feedback.
• Develop onboarding and ramp-up plans for junior consultants and ensure readiness for billable work.
• Foster continuous improvement and ensure consistent practices across the organization.
