Job summary

Jobot seeks a tax professional to lead complex passthrough engagements for high net worth clients in a fully remote role. The firm offers a competitive base salary and a robust benefits package, including 90% employee coverage and 80% dependent coverage, along with 401k matching and generous PTO.

The role requires reviewing returns for partnerships and S-Corporations, proactive tax planning, and strong client relationships, using CCH or similar tax software to ensure high-quality, ethical work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of progressive tax compliance experience in public accounting.
• CPA license or on track to obtain one.
• Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation preferred.
• Proficiency in CCH or other tax software.
• Experience with complex passthrough entities and high net worth owners.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple and complex tax engagements, delivering quality tax solutions.
• Review federal and state returns for partnerships and S-Corporations and owners.
• Research with CCH, respond to IRS inquiries, and provide proactive tax planning.
• Tailor proactive tax strategies to clients' needs.
• Demonstrate teamwork, positive attitude, and high ethical standards.
