Jobot is seeking a tax professional to handle remote passthrough business tax engagements. Located in Sacramento, CA, the firm focuses on complex business tax and supports employee development.

Responsibilities include managing multiple tax engagements, reviewing returns for partnerships and S-Corporations, researching with CCH, and providing proactive tax planning for clients in a fully remote setup.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of progressive tax compliance experience in public accounting, ideally Big 4.
• CPA license or on the path toward obtaining a license.
• Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation preferred.
• Proficiency in CCH or other tax software.
• Experience with complex passthrough entities and their high-net-worth owners.
• Strong interpersonal and client relationship skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple complex tax engagements, delivering quality tax solutions for clients.
• Review federal and state returns for partnerships and S-Corporations and owners.
• Research and consult on tax matters using CCH, responding to IRS inquiries when requested.
• Provide proactive tax planning tailored to client needs.
• Demonstrate teamwork, positive attitude, and high ethical standards.
