Job summary

Jobot is hiring a tax professional to lead complex passthrough engagements with a fully remote setup. The role demands at least 2 years of progressive tax compliance experience in public accounting, a CPA license or path, and a Master’s degree in Accounting or Taxation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of progressive tax compliance experience in public accounting.
• CPA license or on the path toward licensure.
• Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation preferred.
• Proficiency in CCH or other tax software.
• Extensive experience with complex passthrough entities and high net worth owners.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple and complex tax engagements, ensuring quality solutions.
• Review federal and state returns for partnerships and S-Corporations and their owners.
• Utilize CCH to research and consult on tax matters, respond to IRS inquiries.
• Provide proactive tax planning tailored to clients.
• Demonstrate excellent teamwork, positive attitude, and high ethical standards.
