Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Tax Manager to lead engagements focused on pass-through entities and closely held businesses, including partnerships, S‑Corps, multi-state LLCs, and HNWI. You will own client relationships from start to finish, ensuring timely, high‑quality deliverables.

The role offers remote work with core hours and a strong emphasis on mentorship, staff development, and building a top-tier tax practice.

Qualifications

• Active CPA license required.
• 5+ years of public accounting experience with exposure to pass-through entities and closely held businesses.
• Demonstrated experience supervising staff and seniors.
• Strong project management and client communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; knowledge of ProSystem fx Tax a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review federal and multi-state tax returns for pass-through entities, closely held businesses, C‑Corps, and individuals.
• Manage multiple client engagements; own timelines and deliverables.
• Draft financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Serve as day-to-day client contact and stay current on client needs to proactively add value.
• Coach and train staff and seniors; participate in recruiting and staff development.
