Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our growing public accounting practice in a fully remote role. You will manage engagements from start to finish, review complex returns, mentor staff, and build trusted client relationships.

The ideal candidate has public accounting tax experience, CPA license, and comfort working across a broad client base with opportunities for leadership and partnership potential.

Qualifications

• CPA license required.
• Experience in public accounting tax.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements, priorities, and deadlines.
• Mentor and develop junior staff; collaborate with partners.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse portfolio of tax engagements and client relationships.
• Review federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, trusts, estates, and other entities.
• Review work prepared by senior accountants and tax staff for accuracy and quality.
• Provide guidance on complex tax compliance and planning matters.
• Research federal and state tax issues and communicate recommendations to clients and firm leadership.
• Work directly with clients to understand their businesses and evolving tax needs.
