Job summary

ADL Florida Gulf Coast Community Manager role seeks a capable public-facing organizer to advance ADL’s mission in the Tampa Bay area. You will cultivate partnerships with community leaders, coordinate programs, and engage volunteers to broaden impact.

The role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and comfort representing ADL publicly across diverse audiences. Remote work is supported, with local community presence expected.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills.
• Highly organized and detail- and goal-oriented required.
• Problem-solving and initiative; ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Comfort working with colleagues remotely across the country.
• Ability to be the public face of ADL in the community with diverse audiences.
• Technical competence with databases, reporting, and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the spokesperson for ADL Florida during interactions with community partners, coalitions, media, and public awareness efforts.
• Build relationships with Jewish and non-Jewish organizations to extend ADL's voice on antisemitism and hate issues.
• Identify and promote programming opportunities and events with current or prospective partners.
• Promote and execute nationwide ADL programs and policies tailored to local needs, including workshops for law enforcement.
• Ensure reports of antisemitic incidents are received and addressed with appropriate consultation.
• Recruit, engage, and develop volunteer leadership and advisory council members.
• Engage with state and local officials; advocate for ADL issues in government.
• Manage region communications, newsletters, and event marketing to supporters and stakeholders.
