Job summary

The Jewish Federations of North America is seeking a proactive non-profit professional to support the Director of Engagement in a variety of programmatic areas and engagement experiences in Tampa, FL. The role includes coordinating events, managing guest communications, and developing engaging programs for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities include assisting with marketing communications, volunteer engagement, database maintenance, and outreach to constituents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3–5 years of professional work experience in a non-profit organization or equivalent preferred.
• Understanding of Jewish values, holidays, traditions and culture is a plus.
• Knowledge of databases, spreadsheets and email marketing programs (Constant Contact or Mailchimp).
• Ability to be organized, proactive and diplomatic while working with volunteers and partners.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Engagement in programmatic areas and engagement experiences.
• Provide programmatic support for Federation Engagement initiatives including venue/equipment reservations, guest speakers, RSVPs and materials for events.
• Develop and implement engaging programs for diverse audiences in collaboration with the Director of Engagement.
• Maintain contact with constituents via phone, email and written correspondence; respond promptly to inquiries.
• Assist with all Federation Engagement programs, greeting guests and facilitating introductions at events.
• Fully manage the iVolunteer initiative, coordinating social action experiences throughout the year.
• Create and prepare ongoing marketing communications (Shalom Tampa, Jbuzz, IMPACT enewsletters).
• Research engagement trends and funding opportunities to expand team goals; develop new programs as appropriate.
• Assist with social media content to increase participation and awareness.
