Job summary

ADL is seeking an Associate Regional Director in Boca Raton or Miami to assist the Regional Director and Operations team in advancing ADL’s mission through public policy, advocacy, engagement, and law enforcement relations.

The role focuses on building community relationships, leading volunteer committees, coordinating programs, representing ADL at events, and supporting the Florida Strategic Plan within programming and outreach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Multiple years in Jewish community relations, advocacy, law enforcement, or public affairs.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment with 3 days in the office.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with regional operations to build community relationships with Jewish and non-Jewish partners and leaders.
• Lead volunteer committees, including the Advocacy and Engagement Committee.
• Investigate discrimination and antisemitic incidents; conduct fact-finding and maintain records.
• Coordinate communications and marketing materials for programs under the portfolio.
• Advance ADL Florida's Strategic Plan in programming, advocacy, engagement, and law enforcement outreach.
• Represent ADL at community events to promote the organization's mission.
• Support regional development, young leadership events, and legislative agenda.
• Act as lead contact with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies in Florida.
• Cultivate relationships with law enforcement and coordinate training opportunities; organize regional Law Enforcement Awards.
• Liaise with Jewish community security leads.
