Job summary

Layton Construction is seeking a Talent Sourcer to join our Talent Acquisition team. You will proactively identify, engage, and develop qualified candidate pipelines to support hiring across our markets.

In this hands-on role you will conduct passive sourcing, build talent maps, monitor market intelligence, and partner closely with Recruiters to deliver high-quality candidates and insights that drive recruiting strategy.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to identify and engage passive candidates.
• Strong research, internet sourcing, and talent-market mapping skills.
• Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and/or other candidate sourcing platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple searches and priorities simultaneously.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies for assigned positions and talent segments.
• Identify qualified candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, associations, networks, referrals, databases, and other channels.
• Research passive candidates and build targeted lists and talent pools.
• Screen candidates before advancing to the Recruiter.
• Maintain a consistent pipeline for high-priority roles.
• Partner with Recruiters to understand openings and sourcing challenges.
• Develop sourcing plans for niche, high-volume, and difficult-to-fill positions.
• Communicate activity, pipeline quality, and market conditions regularly.
• Provide recruiters with qualified candidates and market intelligence.
• Leverage ATS and analytics to measure sourcing effectiveness.
