Job summary

Layton Construction is seeking a Talent Acquisition Recruiter to support aggressive hiring needs across the United States, focusing on construction and subcontractor roles. You will own requisitions and partner with managers to deliver end-to-end searches in a fast-paced environment.

You will use ATS and LinkedIn Recruiter to source top talent, ensuring a positive candidate experience and data-driven recruiting; collaboration with the team is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related field preferred.
• 2–3 years of recruiting experience in high-volume environments.
• Experience in construction management, skilled trades, or related industries preferred.
• Ability to work independently while staying aligned with the recruiting team.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple searches in a fast-changing environment.
• Excellent relationship management with candidates and hiring teams.
• Proficiency in ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing platforms.

• Adapt quickly to changing business priorities and support team goals by aligning efforts with peers.
• Ensure a seamless candidate experience through timely communication and consistent follow-up.
• Leverage data and reporting to track progress, share insights, and drive accountability.

• Experience in construction management, skilled trades, utility construction or related industries highly preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workflow, while staying aligned with the broader recruiting team.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple searches in a fast-changing environment.
• Excellent relationship management skills with both candidates and hiring teams.
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and adaptability are critical.
• Proficiency in ATS systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing platforms.
