Job summary

Layton Construction is seeking a Talent Sourcer to proactively identify and engage qualified candidates, building robust pipelines to support hiring needs. You will partner closely with Recruiters to understand roles, develop targeted sourcing strategies, and deliver high-quality talent into the recruiting process.

The ideal candidate is a resourceful researcher and relationship builder who can identify passive candidates, map markets, and create meaningful connections with prospective talent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in HR, business, or related field.
• Proven ability to identify and engage passive candidates.
• Strong research, internet sourcing, and talent-market mapping skills.
• Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop proactive sourcing strategies for open roles and talent segments.
• Identify qualified candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and networks.
• Build candidate lists and talent pools for current and upcoming needs.
• Screen candidates against qualifications before routing to recruiters.
• Partner with recruiters to inform strategy and throughput.
• Maintain a healthy pipeline for high-priority roles.
• Leverage recruiting tech to improve sourcing effectiveness.
