Job summary

Anima is seeking a seasoned Head of Hiring to drive our technical recruiting, build scalable processes, and own the pipeline across all roles. You will lead multi-channel sourcing, optimize Ashby ATS, and partner with hiring managers to craft great candidate experiences.

You’ll implement a data-driven hiring engine, close senior candidates, and establish partnerships with top search firms, creating a high-velocity, quality-focused recruitment function.

Qualifications

• You have sourced and hired technical roles into a company with a high technical bar.
• You have excellent written communication, and can write cold outbound that senior technical candidates actually reply to.
• You have stood up and run a hiring function as a system, and know how to configure an ATS (Ashby) with consistent stages, scorecards and interview plans.
• You have experience closing senior candidates against competing offers.
• You have selected and managed third-party search partners.
• You are comfortable with numbers and can create dashboards and reporting that will build the compounding hiring engine.

Responsibilities

• Own every job’s pipeline with live candidates and scheduled conversations with hiring managers.
• Build and maintain a multi-channel sourcing approach: direct outbound, referrals, 3rd‑party partners, events, communities, and inbound.
• Tune Ashby with stages, interview plans, scorecards, and reporting to optimise hiring outcomes.
• Triaging applications quickly; move top candidates to first conversations within 48 hours.
• Train hiring managers on a written playbook to maximise F1 score while preserving candidate experience.
• Ensure accountability and progress across all candidate stages and roles.
