Job summary

SEI Corporation is seeking a results-oriented Practice Management Consultant to help independent advisory firms scale through talent, people and culture. This remote role partners with SEI’s Technology and Operations and supports growth and sustainability across wealth management practices.

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years in talent management for advisory or professional services, and can strategize, implement, and measure ROI of talent initiatives in a digital/AI-enabled environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience helping financial advisors or professional service firms grow, scale, and strengthen their businesses.
• Expertise across the full employee lifecycle: recruiting, onboarding, performance management, leadership development, compensation design, succession planning, engagement and retention.
• Experience translating AI, automation and digital tools into practical talent strategy.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert consultation, coaching, and education to independent advisory practices on talent-focused topics.
• Guide firms to redesign roles, workflows, competencies and career paths for an AI-native world.
• Coach leaders to view talent as strategic investments and apply workforce planning, capacity and compensation decisions.
• Attract and onboard advisory firms by demonstrating strong talent strategies and outcomes.
• Assess firms' talent, leadership, organizational, and cultural strengths and gaps, with actionable recommendations.
• Develop and deliver content—presentations, workshops, training—for advisors and teams.
