Job summary

MasTec Industrial is actively seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist I or II to lead full-cycle recruiting across North America. You will partner with operations leaders to anticipate workforce needs, build pipelines, and drive timely hires for engineers and construction roles.

The role offers remote work with standard business hours and travel up to 10% for recruiting events. You will use iCIMS and other tools to enhance candidate experience and ensure compliance while delivering results.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year recruiting experience; construction or related industry preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to travel up to 10%, for career fair and other recruiting efforts may be required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers as a trusted talent advisor, providing guidance on hiring strategies, candidate evaluation, and recruitment best practices.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for exempt and non‑exempt positions, from sourcing and screening through offer acceptance and onboarding.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs across a variety of construction, operations, and support functions.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies using networking, referrals, social media, job boards, talent communities, and other recruiting channels.
• Deliver an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience while driving timely hiring decisions and results.
• Maintain accurate candidate records, recruitment activities, and hiring documentation within the applicant tracking system.
• Identify opportunities to improve hiring processes, recruitment tools, and manager effectiveness through training and coaching.
• Support diversity, equal employment opportunity, and affirmative action initiatives throughout the recruitment process.
• Participate in recruiting projects, hiring events, workforce planning activities, and other talent acquisition initiatives.
