Job summary

MSU Denver is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner to serve as a strategic advisor to hiring managers and HR colleagues. You will lead full-cycle recruitment, develop sourcing strategies, and advance employer branding to attract a diverse, qualified workforce.

In this role, you will collaborate across campus, refine position descriptions, manage candidate relations, and monitor recruitment metrics to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (Two years of experience equals one year of education)
• Experience managing full-cycle recruitment activities (sourcing, screening, interviewing)
• Experience consulting with hiring managers, committees, or leaders on recruitment and hiring practices
• Knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality service in a fast-paced environment
• Experience using recruitment technologies and professional networking platforms

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary talent acquisition partner for assigned searches and provide guidance to hiring teams
• Build relationships with campus stakeholders to understand workforce needs and recruit accordingly
• Develop and refine position descriptions, qualifications, and recruitment plans
• Provide recommendations on requirements, market competitiveness, and candidate attraction strategies
• Manage full-cycle recruitment from launch to offer, ensuring a positive candidate experience
• Coordinate sourcing, screening, interviews, reference checks, and offers
• Guide hiring managers on equitable hiring practices and employment laws
• Promote consistency, transparency, and compliance throughout the hiring process
• Support executive and hard-to-fill searches with targeted recruitment
• Represent MSU Denver at career fairs and networking events to enhance employer branding
• Collaborate on employer branding, recruitment marketing, and outreach initiatives
• Create recruitment messaging and campaigns to position MSU Denver as an employer of choice
• Analyze recruitment metrics and trends to identify improvement opportunities
• Develop training materials and process documentation for hiring practices
• Partner with HR and campus stakeholders to address recruitment challenges and retention considerations
• Provide data-driven insights to support workforce stability and long-term talent goals
• Support vendor partnerships and recruitment-related budgeting and expenditures
