Job summary

Qualifications

• Professional-level HR experience with Talent Acquisition or pre-employment work.
• Experience managing professional staff and performance.
• Experience running day-to-day operations with multiple priorities.
• Ability to assess context before choosing a path forward.
• Experience driving process improvements for efficiency.
• Strong consultation, relationship-building and influencing skills.
• Knowledge of employment laws and hiring policies and ability to explain impacts.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or HR management; relevant experience may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day Talent Acquisition program operations statewide.
• Coach, mentor and develop staff with clear performance expectations.
• Monitor service delivery, resources and workflow to close gaps.
• Provide guidance on Talent Acquisition processes and compliance.
• Lead strategic projects with the Talent Acquisition Administrator.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and service delivery.
• Consult customers on hiring practices and pre-employment matters.
• Ensure continuity of service during interruptions or changing needs.
