Job summary

Legence is a leading engineering and MEP services provider seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager to lead a 3–5 person team and shape workforce strategy for technical, engineering, and leadership roles. You will partner with executives, drive sourcing strategies, and improve recruiting metrics while ensuring compliance and strong candidate experience.

The role emphasizes strategic advisory work, cross-functional collaboration, and a visible leadership presence across business units.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 7 years of progressive talent acquisition experience, including full-cycle recruiting.
Minimum of 2 years of direct people leadership or recruiting team management experience.
Demonstrated success partnering with senior leaders and hiring managers in a consultative environment.
Strong understanding of recruiting metrics, reporting, and best practices.
Experience leading multiple concurrent hiring initiatives across diverse business functions.
Excellent communication, presentation, relationship-building, and influencing skills.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop a team of 3–5 Talent Acquisition professionals.
Establish team goals, performance metrics, and development plans aligned with objectives.
Provide guidance on recruiting strategy, stakeholder management, and complex initiatives.
Drive accountability for recruiting performance, data integrity, and candidate experience.
Partner with hiring managers to create sourcing, attraction, and selection strategies.
Ensure consistent execution of processes, SLAs, and compliance requirements.
Monitor workloads, requisition activity, and resource allocation.
Identify opportunities to improve recruiting efficiency and candidate experience.
Serve as strategic talent advisor to business unit leaders and executives.
