Job summary

Omilia is seeking skilled language experts for Tagalog. This remote, freelance role offers a 4–5 month engagement with part-time hours.

You will review transcribed data for accuracy, consult with technical teams on linguistic patterns, and help develop transcription guidelines. A bachelor’s degree in linguistics or translation studies and native Tagalog proficiency are required. Knowledge of transcription software and familiarity with ASR/NLP is a plus. Work from home with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Translation Studies or related field.
• Native Tagalog proficiency or formal specialization in the language.
• Experience reviewing transcribed data for accuracy, grammar and punctuation.
• Familiarity with transcription guidelines development.
• Knowledge of ASR, NLP or NLU is a plus.
• Remote work with flexible hours; part-time engagement.
