Job summary

BBG is seeking a Systems Support Engineer in Dallas to act as the primary technical support resource for appraisal production systems and applications. You will troubleshoot issues, maintain functionality, and partner with appraisers, operations, and IT to optimize workflows and data integrity.

The ideal candidate blends strong technical troubleshooting with knowledge of appraisal processes and outstanding customer service to ensure reliable operations and a positive user experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience supporting business applications or enterprise software.
• Experience troubleshooting software applications in a customer-facing role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide first- and second-level technical support for appraisal production systems and apps.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, system, and workflow issues promptly.
• Serve as primary contact for appraisers and operations staff on system questions.
• Configure, maintain, and support appraisal software, integrations, and user accounts.
• Monitor performance; identify opportunities to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Document issues and resolutions in ticketing and knowledge systems.
• Escalate complex issues to vendors or internal IT teams as needed.
• Participate in testing, upgrades, implementations, and new features.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on workflow automation and process improvements.
• Assist with data validation and data integrity across systems.
• Create user documentation, training materials, and guides.
• Provide user training and onboarding for appraisal-related systems.
• Track recurring issues and propose long-term solutions.
• Support system security per access controls and company policies.
• Participate in on-call or after-hours support as needed.
