Job summary

Raytheon Technologies is seeking a Systems Obsolescence Manager to lead obsolescence mitigation across programs, interfacing with design, materials, manufacturing, supply chain, and program leadership. This remote role requires a DoD secret clearance and US citizenship.

Candidates should have a STEM degree with 8+ years of relevant experience in obsolescence management, plus strong data analysis, project management, and contract management skills to drive cost-saving initiatives and lifecycle

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
• 8+ years of relevant experience in obsolescence management.
• Experience with proposals, BOE, EVMs, SOWs, CLINs, and CDRLs.
• Data collection, analysis, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand and/or generate a program statement of work (SOW) and other customer requirements.
• Drive creation and management of obsolescence mitigation strategies across multiple functions.
• Interface with customers, component manufacturers, brokers, and external suppliers.
• Develop and sustain proactive obsolescence management processes to deliver cost saving strategies.
• Support lifetime buys, alternate part selections, redesigns, and other mitigations.
• Assist in contract negotiations, basis of estimates, and supplier statements of work for proposals.
• Brief program leadership with status updates, risks, and build limitations.
