Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 5+ years of related experience.
• Experience with obsolescence management methodologies.
• Experience with data collection, analysis, and presentation to discuss system impact.
• Experience with cost/schedules and stakeholder needs integration during the obsolescence process.
• Financial and Contract Management experience with proposals, BOE, EVMs, SOWs, CLINs and CDRLs.

Responsibilities

• Understand and/or generate a program statement of work (SOW) and customer component application requirements.
• Develop and sustain an obsolescence management process to deliver cost-saving strategies.
• Drive resolution through lifetime buys, alternate parts, redesigns, or other mitigation strategies; support negotiations and supplier statements of work for proposals.
• Interact with program and customer leadership to communicate mitigation status.
• Conduct trade studies to identify cost-effective obsolescence-driven changes.
