Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; 10 years of power system modeling experience (8 years with a PhD).
- 8+ years of experience developing simulation models using MATLAB/Simulink, PSCAD, PSS/E, PSLF, PowerFactory, Python, C or C#.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the Modeling and Product Development team; guide technical growth and daily operations.
- Oversee creation and tuning of power electronics and control models using MATLAB/Simulink, PSCAD, PSS/E, PSLF, PowerFactory, PSCAD.
- Provide technical strategy; partner with product owners to expand market reach for solar, storage, and STATCOM.
- Support global projects with expert technical analysis, design studies, and commissioning.
- Advance transmission and distribution standards through industry groups.
