Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Systems Engineer focused on Aviation Weather & NAS Integration for the FAA BNATCS program. You will serve as an engineering integration point among aviation weather systems, FAA stakeholders, subcontractors, and partners.

You will help modernize aviation weather capabilities and ensure interfaces, schedules, risks, and deliverables stay aligned across the program lifecycle. Remote work with travel to DC is required.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Experience managing complex technical projects involving engineering, infrastructure modernization, or aviation systems.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams across organizations.
• Experience managing technical schedules, risks, deliverables, and customer communications.
• Experience developing engineering documentation and acquisition documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide systems engineering support for aviation weather modernization and NAS integration.
• Coordinate interfaces and data flows between weather observation systems and NAS.
• Maintain visibility into system interactions, risks, and decisions.
• Support requirements development, traceability, and verification activities.
• Coordinate discussions with FAA, subcontractors, and partners.
• Develop integrated project schedules and management artifacts.
• Support preparation and delivery of technical reports and implementation packages.
