Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Systems Engineer – Aviation Weather & NAS Integration to advance the FAA BNATCS program. The role focuses on modernizing aviation weather capabilities and serving as a key engineering integration point among aviation weather systems, FAA stakeholders, and implementation partners.

You will work across engineering, program management, quality, safety, cybersecurity, contracts, logistics, and procurement to ensure requirements, interfaces, risks, and deliverables stay aligned

Qualifications

• Citizenship with ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
• Extensive experience in managing complex technical projects and cross‑organization coordination.
• Experience developing engineering docs, plans, and acquisition packages.
• Strong organizational, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide systems engineering support for aviation weather modernization and NAS integration.
• Coordinate interfaces, data flows, and dependencies across NAS systems.
• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules, risk registers, and action trackers.
• Support requirements development, verification, and technical reviews.
• Coordinate discussions with FAA representatives, subcontractors, and partners.
• Drive technical issues to resolution and maintain stakeholder communications.
