Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Remote Systems Integration Engineer - SME to help upgrade FAA National Airspace Systems as part of BNATCS. You will work on site hardware/software installations, coordinate with FAA and vendors, and ensure timely deployments across CONUS/OCONUS locations.

You will review site conditions, develop implementation plans, install equipment, and perform ORM while maintaining security and FAA compliance. This role requires travel up to 90% and US residency.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Public Trust clearance ability required.
• Bachelor's or higher with lengthy experience in hardware/software deployment.
• Travel up to 90% for deployments.
• Ability to lift equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Work in confined spaces (server closets, raised floors).
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze site survey data to validate site conditions and develop Site Specific Implementation Plans (SSIP).
• Track tasks and milestones across sites, coordinating activities and communicating risks.
• Collaborate with vendors and the FAA to ensure end-to-end site completion.
• Discuss equipment placement with facilities as needed.
• Perform Operational Risk Management (ORM) as directed by the FAA.
• Coordinate ORM plans with vendors.
• Provide on-site engineering and installation support.
• Perform site hardware/software installations per FAA policies and standards.
• Conduct site functionality testing including network/interface connectivity as defined by FAA.
• Conduct configuration management and Joint Acceptance Inspections (JAI).
• Support disposition of property and ensure compliance with FAA facility requirements.
