Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Systems Engineer for Aviation Weather & NAS Integration to support modernization efforts for BNATCS. You will serve as an integration focal point across aviation weather systems, FAA stakeholders, subcontractors, and partners.

The role emphasizes requirements management, system interfaces, risk tracking, and collaborative execution across engineering, program controls, and procurement, with remote work and travel to Washington, DC as needed.

Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
Experience managing complex technical projects involving engineering, modernization, or aviation systems.
Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams and customer communications.

Responsibilities

Provide systems engineering support for aviation weather modernization and NAS integration.
Coordinate interfaces, data flows, dependencies, and risk management across teams and FAA stakeholders.
Develop schedules, track actions, and maintain traceability from requirements to deliverables.
Support technical reviews, briefings, and engineering documentation for BNATCS.
Collaborate with FAA representatives, subcontractors, and installation partners to ensure on-time execution.
