Job summary

Koniag Professional Services, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a System Analyst & Tester to support a Federal client with a modernization project. This remote role requires the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance and involves testing across web-based applications and APIs using Selenium, JMeter, and POSTMAN.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in system lifecycle or Agile, 3+ years in software testing, and strong knowledge of modern testing frameworks and Azure DevOps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of experience in systems management lifecycle or Agile methodology
• 3+ years of hands-on software testing experience, including web application testing
• Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies (unit, functional, integration, regression)
• Experience with automated testing tools (Selenium or JMeter)
• Experience with RESTful APIs and API testing (POSTMAN)
• Experience with Modern React, NodeJS, and testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Chai, TS, Cypress, Puppeteer)
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps/Test Plans (epics, features, user stories, tasks, bugs)
• Understanding of .NET, C#, JavaScript, databases
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices

Responsibilities

• Analyze business and system requirements to support application development and testing
• Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks (TDD/BDD, Keyword, POM, Hybrid)
• Develop, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts (manual and automated)
• Create and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, JMeter, and POSTMAN for API testing
• Execute functional, regression, performance, and security test cases
• Develop and maintain reusable test tools and mock frameworks for API and automated testing
• Identify, document, and track defects with detailed analysis and proposed solutions
• Coordinate testing activities with project managers, analysts, and scrum masters
• Assist UAT and verify solutions meet business needs
• Coordinate testing with internal and external customers and prepare reports
