Job summary

Koniag Government Services seeks a System Analyst & Tester for a remote role supporting a Federal client (DOI BTFA) on a modernization project. You will analyze requirements, design automated tests, and coordinate across teams to ensure quality software solutions built for an AI-enabled application.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in systems analysis and testing, hands-on automation with Selenium/JMeter, REST APIs, and modern web tech (React/NodeJS).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of systems management lifecycle or Agile methodology
• 3+ years of hands-on software testing incl. web apps
• Strong testing principles: unit, functional, integration, regression
• Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium or JMeter
• RESTful API testing (POSTMAN) and modern web tech exposure
• Experience with React, NodeJS, and testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Cypress)
• Azure DevOps/Test Plans for epics/features/user stories
• Knowledge of .NET/C#, JavaScript, databases; SQL knowledge
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum and requirements/documentation practices
• Strong technical writing to document business & system requirements
• Security and performance testing familiarity
• Data validation and UAT coordination
• US citizenship or eligibility for Public Trust

Responsibilities

• Analyze business and system requirements for development and testing
• Design and maintain automated test frameworks (Selenium, etc.)
• Create and execute test plans, cases, and scripts (manual & automated)
• Develop automated tests for API testing (POSTMAN)
• Execute functional, regression, performance, and security tests
• Maintain reusable test tools and mock frameworks for API testing
• Track defects and provide detailed analyses and fixes
• Coordinate testing scope with project managers and Scrum Masters
• Assist with UAT and verify business needs are met
• Document requirements, use cases, and user stories
• Coordinate testing data collection with internal/external users
• Generate test results reports with recommendations
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and backlog grooming
• Communicate testing progress and risks to leadership
• Support continuous process improvement
