Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a PremierOne Remote System Administrator to travel to customer sites or connect remotely to perform system administration tasks. You will support CJIS policy-compliant operations, run diagnostics, manage databases, and optimize system performance while collaborating with customers and internal teams.

The role requires 3+ years in IT or public safety, strong knowledge of Windows Server, SQL Server, and virtualization, plus excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; degree preferred.
• 3+ years IT or public safety experience.
• Must obtain background clearance per government customer.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely.

Responsibilities

• Provides tailored technical customer operations support.
• Develops strategies for operational efficiency.
• Executes customer operations policies and procedures.
• Builds positive customer relationships.
• Performs root-cause analysis and proposes improvements.
• Run diagnostics with MSI tools and report performance.
• Assist with database backups and dependencies.
• Travel to customer sites or connect remotely for System Administration tasks.
