Motorola Solutions is seeking a PremierOne Remote System Admin to travel to customer sites or connect remotely to perform system administration and application tasks. The role requires strong experience in public safety software, enterprise hardware/software deployments, and customer-facing operations.

Responsibilities include providing tailored operations support, implementing efficiencies, and performing system maintenance and security updates in CJIS-compliant environments.

Formación

• Minimum of a High School Diploma required, degree preferred.
• ~3+ years IT or public safety experience
• ~3+ years Computer Science, Networking, Engineering, System Maintenance experience (public safety system experience preferred)
• ~3+ years of Public Safety Applications experience involving CAD, RMS, and Mobile CAD/RMS
• ~ Comfortable working both alone and in a team environment
• ~ Experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems (MCSA/MCSE skills)
• ~ Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, ODBC and Ops Manager (SCOM)
• ~ Experience with Public Safety Applications including CAD, Mobile and RMS
• ~ Experience with Virtualization software
• ~ Experienced with Network Load Balancing (NLB) and Clustering
• ~ Experience with hardware blades and SAN; Familiarity with JavaScript, .NET, ESRI 10.X and XML
• ~ Ability to troubleshoot application system issues including hardware, network and third-party components

Responsabilidades

• Provides tailored technical customer operations support
• Develops strategies for implementing operational efficiencies by reviewing workflows, procedures, and performance
• Executes customer operations policies and procedures
• Builds and maintains positive, effective working alliances with customers
• Performs root-cause analysis for problems to formulate and recommend improved operations
• Identifies and suggests system and/or process improvements when applicable
• Performs periodic system maintenance and software patching on servers covered within the Maintenance and Service Agreement
• Provide system performance reporting using MSI tools when requested
• Assist with contractually covered database system backups
• Work with Customer to implement MTN vulnerability resolution and repair procedures
