Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a System Technologist for its Software Enterprise Deployment and Integration team. The role involves upgrading customer servers, migrating databases, and ensuring satisfaction by delivering on SLAs.

You will collaborate across MSI teams to provide technical support and resolve issues for public safety customers. Candidates should have experience with Windows/Linux servers, PostgreSQL, nginx/tomcat, and scripting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in technical customer support and/or technical business analysis role.
• Must be able to obtain background clearance as required by government customer.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required.

Responsibilities

• Upgrade customer servers with the latest software release.
• Migrate legacy databases into new database structures.
• Ensure customer satisfaction involves proper support and delivery on contracted SLAs.
• Collaborate with team members and other MSI teams to provide exceptional customer service and technical support, and troubleshoot issues with the customer.
