Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a System Engineer to drive the technical vision for Silent Sentinel deployments, architecting end-to-end surveillance solutions that integrate with customer networks.

You will lead design reviews, conduct demonstrations, and work with project teams to meet milestones while complying with CJIS security requirements. Remote-friendly role with significant travel.

Qualifications

• Requires the ability to communicate clearly with customers and stakeholders.
• Requires ability to travel 50% to 75% of the time.
• Must be able to obtain a background clearance for government customers.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Design, evaluate, and deploy mission-critical video surveillance and network systems tailored to customer and regulatory requirements.
• Develop, document, and articulate video surveillance system architectures, ensuring compatibility with network capacity, SOW, and customer specs.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to internal and external stakeholders, communicating key capabilities and value propositions.
• Conduct product testing, lead technical demonstrations, and implement system modifications following strict change control procedures.
• Partner with project management, subcontractors, and Motorola Technical Support to drive post-sales execution and meet milestones.
• Identify project risks, propose mitigations, and adhere to company standards and ethics.
