Huron Consulting Group Inc. in the United States seeks a System Coding Manager to lead the coding operations within the revenue cycle. You will supervise coding staff and ensure timely, accurately coded cases in accordance with AHIMA guidelines and payer requirements.

You will develop budgets, set productivity targets, and collaborate with HIM leadership to improve data integrity and clinical outcomes. A Bachelor’s in HIM, RHIT/RHIA certification, and 5+ years of supervisory coding experience

Competenze

• Bachelor Degree in Health Information Management is required.
• RHIT or RHIA certification; CCS/CIC is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Minimum 5 years supervisory or coding leadership experience.
• 3-5 years experience in coding a variety of visit types.

Mansioni

• Adheres to AHIMA guidelines for ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS and CPT-4 coding policy and procedures.
• Develops goals, objectives and productivity targets; reviews progress and revises as needed.
• Oversees budgeting; maintains variance within +/-2%.
• Coordinate with Coding team on daily responsibilities.
• Develop, recommend, and oversee policies and procedures for the area.
• Ensure compliance with federal and local regulations and laws.
• Promote coding operations and collaborate with Revenue Cycle leadership.
• Lead training and mentoring of coding staff.
• Manage multiple projects and staff with strong prioritization.
