Job summary

Huron Consulting Group Inc. seeks a System Coding Manager to lead systemwide coding operations, aligning with revenue cycle goals for Munson Healthcare. You will oversee staff, ensure compliant coding, and contribute to strategic planning and budgets.

The role requires HIM degree, RHIT/RHIA certification, and 3–5 years of coding leadership experience, with strong communication and leadership skills. This on-site position offers a competitive salary and incentive opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current permanent U.S. work authorization required.
• Bachelor degree in Health Information Management is required.
• RHIT or RHIA certification required; CCS/CIC preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; supervisory experience required.
• 3-5 years coding leadership or supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee systemwide coding program and ensure timely, accurate coding for facility billing.
• Manage coding staff to meet productivity and quality goals.
• Align coding operations with revenue cycle objectives and Munson Healthcare strategy.
• Develop budgets, monitor variances, and manage department spending.
• Collaborate with HIM, CDI, and other departments to ensure data integrity.
