The role emphasizes governance, policy development, and staff supervision. The position requires a Bachelor’s in HIM, RHIT/RHIA, and extensive knowledge of ICD-10-CM/CPT coding, with leadership experience in a revenue-cycle environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management (HIM) is required.
• Current RHIT or RHIA certification required; CCS and/or CIC is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and related tools.

Responsabilités

• Adheres to national coding guidelines (ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT-4).
• Develops goals and targets; monitors progress and budgets.
• Oversees daily coding operations and staff performance to meet quality goals.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations in coding.
• Partners with Revenue Cycle leadership to align coding with organizational strategy.
