Job summary

The American Cancer Society is seeking a Senior Regional Leader to execute individual giving strategies across the region and to lead Market Leaders, frontline fundraising teams, and donor portfolios, including UHNW/HNW engagement. This role focuses on accelerating revenue growth and building high-performing, donor-centric teams.

This 100% remote position can be based in major western market metros such as San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, San Diego, Phoenix, Denver, Minneapolis, or Seattle,

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership in driving fundraising results across diverse communities.
• Expertise in principal gift strategy, portfolio management, and high-capacity donor engagement.
• Skilled communicator who serves as a key representative to volunteer and staff leadership.
• Strong ability to drive alignment and collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive Regional Individual Giving Execution: implement strategies to achieve principal/major gift revenue goals.
• Lead and Develop Market Leadership Teams: recruit, coach, and manage Market Leaders and frontline teams.
• Lead and Manage Specialized Teams: oversee a national network of donor-relations fundraisers.
• Advance Principal & Major Gift Strategy: support portfolio management and donor strategy execution.
• Guide Principal Donor Relations: identify and steward a select UHNW/HNW donor portfolio.
• Drive Market Integration & Collaboration: align channels, pillars, marketing, and operations.
• Oversee Volunteer & Governance Engagement: leverage ACS chapters and boards to advance priorities.
• Ensure Performance Management & Accountability: establish KPIs and drive accountability.
