American Cancer Society is seeking a Senior Vice President, Individual Giving to drive regional fundraising strategies across an assigned geography. The role leads Market Leaders, oversees frontline teams and major gift portfolios, and manages a national network of specialized fundraisers.

The ideal candidate will have 10–12+ years of fundraising experience, 8–10 years in management, and a track record of donor-centric portfolio leadership.

• Years of experience: 10–12+ years of fundraising experience
• 8–10 years in a management role

Responsibilities

• Drive Regional Individual Giving execution across the region and translate national priorities into market-level actions.
• Lead and develop Market Leaders who oversee frontline fundraising teams and major gift portfolios.
• Oversee specialized relationship fundraisers and ensure donor-centric portfolio management.
• Advance principal and major gift strategy through disciplined portfolio management and donor engagement.
• Directly identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward UHNW/HNW individuals as a senior ACS representative.
• Drive market integration and collaboration across development channels, marketing, and operations.
• Ensure performance management with KPIs and continuous improvement across teams.
