Job summary

ICF is seeking a Survey Manager to join our Survey Research Science and Operations practice in a REMOTE capacity. You will support large-scale federal surveys and diverse projects for government and commercial clients, including aviation, transportation, and energy, coordinating multiple teams, deadlines, and dependencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3+ years of applied experience in the survey research field.
• 2+ years of experience in survey project management, coordinating teams and tasks, tracking completion of activities, managing schedules, and ensuring quality of work products.
• 2+ years of experience with MS Office products—Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Manage concurrent survey-related projects, acting as the main client contact and ensuring high-quality results.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and performance using formal project management processes.
• Create and track project budgets.
• Maintain multiple workstreams by identifying next steps, assigning actions, tracking dependencies, and escalating issues as needed.
• Coordinate with internal collaborators and outside subcontractors/vendors.
• Lead cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and collaboration.
• Provide methodological or technical guidance for quantitative data collection (web, mail, telephone, in-person).
• Provide methodological or technical guidance for qualitative data collection (cognitive interviewing, interviews, focus groups).
• Develop QA protocols and ensure data/report quality.
