Job summary

Ascent Geomatics seeks a seasoned Survey Manager to lead field and office survey teams for oil and gas projects. You will develop survey plans, allocate resources across multiple projects, and ensure data accuracy and timely delivery under the Director of Survey.

Responsibilities include coordinating with PMs, managing field crews, QA/QC, and mentoring staff while ensuring compliance with safety and professional standards. Remote work within the U.S. is supported.

Qualifications

• Substantial progressive land surveying experience with both field and office operations.
• At least five years leading people, including project and staff management.
• Experience providing land surveying services for oil and gas projects, well sites, pipelines or facilities.

Responsibilities

• Define survey scope, deliverables, effort estimates, assumptions, and milestones with PMs.
• Build survey work plans with tasks, owners, and dependencies.
• Balance field crews and office staff across concurrent assignments and manage priorities.
