Job summary

Southeastern Surveying & Mapping Corporation is seeking a Project Manager to oversee and direct surveying projects, including conventional, GPS, and laser scanning work. You will coordinate with field teams and CAD technicians, prepare bids, and ensure QA/QC prior to client delivery.

Responsibilities include developing project scopes with clients, managing schedules and costs, supervising staff, and pursuing new business leads while strengthening existing client relationships.

Qualifications

• Registered Professional Land Surveyor preferred or ability to obtain within one year.
• Must be Switch to SIT or Certified Survey Technician IV.
• 2-year degree in Surveying or Engineering or 4-year degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5–10 years managing/surveying infrastructure projects.
• Experience with FDOT transportation projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage survey activities for conventional, GPS, and Laser Scanning surveys.
• Develop scopes of work and client communications.
• Prepare bids and estimates aligned with profit and growth goals.
• Coordinate with field teams and CAD technicians.
• Ensure QA/QC and timely RFP submissions.
• Provide day-to-day guidance to field personnel.
• Organize and document project folders and post-project reviews.
• Generate new business leads and assist in client marketing.
