Job summary

Collins Aerospace is hiring a Supplier Quality and Development professional to help drive supplier performance and continuous improvement across our operations. In this role, you will influence supplier qualification, monitoring, escape management, and quality issue resolution while ensuring products, processes, and suppliers meet internal and regulatory standards.

You’ll work closely with suppliers and internal engineering partners to solve complex problems, lead root‑cause and corrective

Qualifications

• University degree and 5+ years relevant experience or advanced degree and 3+ years.
• Bachelor’s in engineering/industrial engineering or similar; equivalent is possible.
• Knowledge of quality regulations, core tools, APQP, problem solving, and Lean Six Sigma desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct supplier qualification/certification, monitoring, escape management, and quality issue resolution.
• Analyze quality data and develop supplier-specific corrective actions.
• Research root cause analysis (Red-X & 8D) and develop preventive actions for supplier issues.
• Handle supplier qualification, source inspection, material release, and DQCs with suppliers.
• Support UTC Supplier Gold program for continuous improvement and sustainability.
• Review processes and metrics to ensure capability for work transfer and PPAP acceptance.
