Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a remote Supplier Quality and Development professional to drive supplier performance and continuous improvement across our operations. You will influence supplier qualification, monitoring, escape management, and quality issue resolution while ensuring products and processes meet internal and regulatory standards.

You’ll collaborate with suppliers and internal engineering partners to solve complex problems, lead root‑cause and corrective actions, support onboarding

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering/industrial engineering or similar field; equivalent work experience may be considered.
• Typical requires a university degree with 5+ years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Conducts supplier qualification / certification, assessment, monitoring, escape management, and quality issue resolution processes.
• Analyzes and makes recommendations on quality data and development of supplier-specific corrective actions.
• Provides root cause analysis and problem solving (Red-X & 8D) for escape management and corrective actions.
• Conducts supplier qualification / certification, source inspection, and material release processes; chairs CAPAs and DQCs with suppliers.
• Drives support for the UTC Supplier Gold program to ensure ongoing improvement and sustainability.
• Reviews processes and metrics to ensure suppliers can meet work transfer and PPAP requirements.
