The candidate will influence supplier qualification, monitoring, and quality issue resolution, collaborating with internal engineers to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

The role emphasizes root cause analysis, corrective actions, and proactive quality tools to strengthen supplier capabilities. West Coast travel may be preferred due to supplier locations.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of relevant experience; advanced degree may reduce experience requirement.
• Experience with supplier qualification, monitoring, and corrective actions.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct supplier qualification, certification, monitoring, and quality issue resolution.
• Analyze quality data and develop corrective actions for supplier performance.
• Provide root cause analysis and problem-solving (8D, Red-X) for supplier issues.
• Manage source inspections, corrective action boards, and PPAP processes with suppliers.
• Support UTC Supplier Gold program to ensure continuous improvement and sustainability.
• Review processes to ensure suppliers can meet transfer and change management requirements.
