Job summary

Collins Aerospace, part of RTX, seeks a Senior Supplier Quality & Development leader to own long-term strategy and drive supplier qualification and quality initiatives across a global supply base.

You will lead a team of experienced professionals, steer corrective actions, and ensure adherence to contract requirements while advancing continuous improvement across materials and processes.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience
• U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined in the provided reference
• 5+ years prior experience in aerospace supplier quality or aerospace quality
• 5+ years hands on experience in Metallurgy, Forgings and Metallic Raw Materials with associated processes
• Ability to communicate and present to all levels of the organization and external suppliers

Responsibilities

• Leads a Team and owns the execution of long-term strategy and the operational direction for supplier quality and development
• Manages a team of experienced professionals focusing on short- to mid-term plans
• Solve complex problems requiring extensive investigation and analysis
• Influences executives and communicates effectively with leadership
• Owns supplier quality strategy including qualification, certification, assessment, and PPAP processes
