Job summary

Pratt & Whitney Midwest Regional Office seeks a Supplier Development Lead to drive operational excellence and CI across the supplier base, coordinating with Purchasing, Engineering, Quality and Operations. You will report supplier progress at executive reviews and ensure alignment with customer needs.

Travel up to 80% within the Midwest is required, with 80% on-site visits and 20% work from home. The role emphasizes risk management, supplier qualification, and rapid ramp-up for new products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain or related field; 10 years in ops/quality/CI, or advanced degree with 7 years.
• U.S. citizen; reside in Midwest US (IL, IN, IA, KS, MI, MN, MO, NE, ND, OH, SD, WI).
• Experience with supplier development and cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities

• Drive supplier performance improvement and on-time delivery across multiple suppliers.
• Lead onsite supplier assessments with Buyers, Quality, and Engineering teams.
• Develop supplier development plans and execute corrective actions.
• Plan and report activities to senior leadership and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Travel up to 80% within Midwest, with 80% onsite presence and 20% remote work.
